Flex-Able, Tough Grade, and Extreme Hoses

Extension of Yard/Garden Hose Warranty

Tristar Products, Inc. is extending the warranty on the Flex-Able, Tough Grade, and Extreme yard/garden watering hoses from 60 days to a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Customers who represent that the hose burst under normal use during the extended warranty period, and who complete the registration form on this site will be provided a replacement hose of similar or improved quality. For example, if you purchased a 100 foot hose, it may be replaced by two of the 50 foot hoses, or if you purchased a 25 foot hose, it may be replaced by one 50 foot hose, depending on supplies. Tristar will cover all shipping costs associated with obtaining the replacement hose.
(a) Direct Purchases from Tristar.
For eligible customers who purchased the hose directly from Tristar and who prior to February 1, 2017 reported a broken hose to Tristar’s customer service department, a replacement hose will be sent upon the customer’s completion of the registration form. For eligible customers who purchased the hose directly from Tristar and are reporting a broken hose to Tristar for the first time on or after February 1, 2017, a replacement hose will be sent upon the customer’s completion of the registration form and inclusion of a photograph showing the broken component of the hose. All customers who purchased the hose directly from Tristar must enter the purchase order number on the registration form, which number would have been sent with the product. If you cannot locate the number, you can obtain it by calling Tristar at the telephone number on the bottom of the registration form.
(b) Purchases from Retailers.
For eligible customers who purchased the hose from a retailer in the United States, a replacement hose will be sent upon (i) the customer’s completion of the registration form, (ii) inclusion of a photograph showing both the broken component of the hose and the end pieces to have been cut off of the hose, and (iii) submission of proof of purchase (such as a receipt or cut-out of the UPC code from the packaging).
Determine if you have the hose imported and sold by Tristar Products, Inc. The extended warranty only applies to the three hoses indicated. Other companies sell similar hoses under different brands, and such other hoses are not covered under the Tristar warranty. Below are photographs of retail packaging for the three Tristar hoses to which the extended warranty applies:
